Manipulate your mind by changing your breathing pattern

Sometimes we just do not know why we feel in certain way, and we have no control over it. An emotion that is stuck in our head and we can’t get rid of it. We call it a mood and tell people that you are not in a mood to do something. You are worried about your job, and you tell your kids, “I’m not in a mood to play.” and the child has to go and play alone in disappointment. Do you want to know how you can change your mood or the way you are thinking instantly? That is what we are going to talk about here.

If you try to observe your breathing patter for all different moods or feelings, you will know that the patter is different in each one of them. When you are happy, your breathing is slow and steady but when you are angry or excited, it is fast and uneasy. You inhale half and exhale half; it is not a full breathing to let your lungs get the full dose of Oxygen it is asking for.

The trick is to close your eyes and observe your breathing first and change the pattern to the mood you are actually wanting to have at the moment. For example, if you are angry or worried about something then know that pattern and change it to the happy one. Once you repeat the breathing patter of your happy mood, the mood will start to change, and you will actually start feeling that emotion.

You will actually allow yourself to manipulate your emotions and you will not have to disappoint your kid again. You can play when you want to and you can be happy pretty much all the time. And yes, it works the other way around too. If you have to act angry in a situation that requires you to be angry then you can pick up that pattern and pose like angry, but actually feeling angry.
