Types of AI that exist and the kind we need

Let’s talk about AI again. This is one of the most trending topics for the past few years. We are seeing the power of AI in multiple different ways. They are all amazing and now becoming a cliche already. But let’s see what AI really is able to do in today’s times. You will find many articles about Artificial Intelligence (AI) and most of them are confusing because the basic information is missing in most of them and media companies trying to look cool and knowledgeable end up serving too technical for a regular men content. So, let’s just musing over the things AI can do based on all the major releases and hypes. This list is from the user’s perspective of what they can expect and not from a technical perspective, so don’t comment saying what about Natural Language Processing (NLP).

1. AI can generate customized information with prompts like request or questions. This generative AI can provide to the point most valuable information of the question or request. The examples of information related AI are ChatGPT and Bard. The good thing about this type is that you get one single answer to your question, so you don’t stay confused with multiple answers given by Google search and its non-authentic information.
2. Image generation AI tools: These tools generate images when you provide prompts. Providing proper prompt in itself is a skill that people will need to learn sooner or later. Any type of image or vector can be generated just by asking for it. This saves a lot of efforts and money that actual photography would need.
3. Video generation AI: This type of AI can create video based on your prompt. AI for video has not become popular enough because don’t we just want to write the story and get the movie generated by AI?
4. The AI bots: There are robots that are trained to do certain things when they are created and then they start learning from the surroundings because of the AI technology.
5. Audio AI that can mimic your voice or create music. AI has the ability to interpret data and create original music from references.

These are the ones that we know of, and they are certainly not enough. We need an AI tool that combines it all and is easy to use. Yes, I mean a personal robot for all. A cell phone should be replaced with robots. Maybe not cell phone, but laptops. Imagine a transforming laptop that converts into a robot and is powerful enough to have power of all AIs.

Robots with AI ability and ML can be great servants. It is awful how rich cannot have robots instead of humans. A cook, driver, cleaner, gardener, dog keeper and genitor should be robots or may be just one robot with such superpowers. That is the desired outcome by 2030. So, to all the tech companies out there thinking what the market for robots is, here’s the demand. People will rush to the store no matter the price. We all remember what happened when iPhone 15 got released with no practical change from iPhone 14.
